This workshop is aimed to discuss the challenges faced by professors who teach research methods to undergraduate and graduate students, especially to the doctoral students who would like to pursue their career in academic research. The workshop is also aimed at exchanging ideas and tips among the participants who have taught such courses. The organizers of this workshop have recently edited a book entitled Methods in Management Research (《管理学之研究方法》,北京大学出版社)that reviews every aspect of conducting research and publishing research in top-tier academic journals. This book will be used as a guide for the discussions in the workshop.

The targeted participants for this workshop are the professors who have taught, are teaching, will be teaching, or are interested in teaching the Research Methods course.
