Anne Tsui, Editor in Chief, Management and Organization Review

Garden Hotel, June 22, 13:30-17:30

The purpose of this workshop is to provide participants with ideas, guidelines, and suggestions on preparing a manuscript for submission to top tier journals. This includes an understanding of the editing and reviewing process, what reviewers expects to see in a manuscript, and revise a manuscript to increase revision success by effectively responding to reviewersˇ¦ comments. Faculty leaders will be experienced editors who have had extensive experiences in editing journals, reviewing and also are successful authors who have published in the top tier journals.

The workshop will be organized into three topics in a small group discussion format. Participants will rotate to each of the three small groups. After the small group discussions, we will have an open Q&A, ending with the editors of key journals to offer some final advice or suggestions. The three topics are:
1. Preparing a manuscript for a top tier journal,
