REGISTRATION INFORMATION

DUE TO HOTEL CAPACITY, WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ON-SITE REGISTRATION.

Dear IACMR Members and Supporters:

We have a record number of 850 Conference registration. Thank you so much for your enthusiastic support. However, due to the limited capacity of the Conference hotel, we are sorry we have to close the registration to ensure a successful operation of the conference. For those who have registered but have not paid please complete your payment by May 10. If you are a presenter or have an official role to play in the conference and have not registered please contact Irene Zhang iacmrbj@pku.edu.cn or Red Ng iacmr@asu.edu by May 10. Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.

Please do NOT use Internet Explorer for conference registration. Please use one of the following browsers: Fire Fox, Chrome, or Safari. IE has a technical problem that renders it incompatible with embedded PayPal buttons.

If you are paying with a credit card issued in a country outside of the US, please make sure you first select your country when you arrive at the PayPal payment page. The page will automatically refresh itself to reflect the corresponding address requirements (such as "county" instead of "state" or "postal code" instead of "zip code"). If PayPal gives you an error message even if you have put in all the correct information for your card, you may just have to try a different card. We have contacted PayPal yet they were not able to give us a precise answer of why such errors might occur unless we provided all the details of a particular card.

Thank you for your interest in registering for the 2010 IACMR conference! Starting with our 2008 conference, the registration fee includes a two-year membership. If you are already a paid member, the two-year membership will not start until your current membership expires.

If you currently work/live in mainland China, please click here to register for the conference (payment in CNY with Chinese registration instructions and forms). Otherwise, please follow the instructions below to register for the conference. If you are working/living in mainland China but find it challenging to pay in CNY (e.g., you are not a Chinese-speaker), you are encouraged to pay in USD following the instructions below.

Online Registration

If you are a current member, we ask that you update your contact information and provide us name badge information (including spouse name badge information) by signing in online. If you are not a member, we ask that you create an online profile first (you will have an opportunity to give us the name badge information). Please note that online registration is a separate step from conference registration payment. You need to complete both to register for the conference.

Payment and Receipt

We accept online payment (via PayPal) with credit cards (Visa, Master, Discover, and American Express), bank accounts, or PayPal accounts. You will receive a confirmation email from PayPal once your transaction goes through. If you prefer to pay with a personal check, money order, or cashier's check, please make the check/money order payable to ¡§IACMR¡¨ and mail your check/money order together with a printout of your registration information, including name badge and profile information, to the address listed at the end of this page. Please note that the processing time for a check payment is SIGNIFICANT LONGER than online payment. So we encourage you to pay online for both efficiency and security purposes.

If you are paying student rate, please email proof of student status to iacmrus at gmail dot com. Proof of student status can be a scanned copy of your student ID with valid semester marking, registrar receipt for the current semester, a letter from a university officer or faculty verifying your student status.

If you are paying online ON BEHALF OF a faculty or student, please email us (at BOTH iacmrus@gmail.com AND iacmrbj@pku.edu.cn) the name of the person for whom you are paying. Please remind this person to update his/her contact information (or register as a new member) and provide us with name badge information.

Cancellation

In order to receive a refund of your registration fees without penalty, you must request it in writing (email is preferred) by March 15, 2010. Cancellation between March 16 and May 15, 2010 will be charged with a 10% processing fee, 25% for cancellation between May 16 and May 31, and 50% between June 1 and 15. No refund will be issued after June 15, 2010. Contact the Hotel directly for information on canceling your hotel reservations.

Spouse Attendance

Spouses who are not IACMR Members are allowed access to the Conference and provided a complimentary name badge, but conference information packet will not be offered to the spouses if they do not register. All conference meals are included in the spouse registration.

Restricted Access

Access to the meeting is restricted to meeting registrants. Registrants must wear their name badges at all times.

Registration Desk Hours

A printed copy of the Conference program will be available on-site at the Registration Desk, which will be open on June 16 (3PM to 9PM), June 17 (730AM to 5PM), and 18 (730AM to 5PM), 2010.

Luncheons and Dinners

You will receive meal tickets when you pick up your conference information packet on site. We provide two lunches, one dinner, a reception, and six coffee breaks:

Charity Donation

There will be a donation box on site for Shanghai Qing Cong Quan Training Center for Children, which is a local non-profit organization providing professional training and educational programs for children with autism and special needs.
